Key Responsibilities:

• To provide insight into and understanding of the Financial Performance of the Bank’s operation along the market and regulatory environment within which we operate;
• To ensure high standards of quality and professional Financial Management is met at all times;
• To ensure that statutory, regulatory and procedures and requirements are fully complied with;
• Develop suitable MIS for various management meetings periodically;
• Analyze and interpret bank’s data and present to management for decision making;
• Liaise with Information Technology Department for setting up appropriate ledgers, proper accounting treatment through parameters and accurate reporting;
• Ensure compliance with all statutory & regulatory requirements such as provisioning;
• Ensure overall accuracy of data and information which extracted from core banking system database;
• Ensure timely preparation & submission of Central Bank Reports;
• Support end users to utilize MIS report or Core Banking Systems.
• To ensure that the financial statements and returns of the Bank’s operations are prepared in compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements;
• Ensure that  adequate  accounting  and  other  supporting  records  and  internal  control  systems  are properly maintained;
• To monitor the capital expenditure to ensure adherence to budgeted limits;
• Upgrade the  accounting  policies  and  expense  management  policies  to  keep  pace  with  the  highly complex and changing Regulatory environment.

Job Requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• excellent analytical, communication and inter-personal skills;
• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver outputs in a timely manner;
• consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude
• At least Three years of financial management experience preferably in a MFI or Commercial Bank;
• Understanding of budget, financial analysis and assessment of financial systems and procedures;
• Fluent in English with good written and oral communication skills;
• Strong computer literacy such as Microsoft Offices (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, etc.), Core Banking System,
• Internet, E-mail, etc.
• Accuracy, attention to details, initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
• Demonstrated experience  in  selecting,  managing,  and  developing  a  team,  and  the  ability  to  lead by example;
• Self-motivated, self-starter, demonstrated initiative and a strong desire to improve processes.
• Honest and patient
